Five things you need to know how to deal with a workaholic: In the dating world

              

         1. Throw ROMANCE out of the window

     

       You know how you always pictured yourself with him, holding you in his arms, buying your favourite flowers, noticing your little likes and dislikes, calling you now and then, etc. Nothing like that is going to happen.

      He is very much new to the concept of “ROMANCE”. For him it’s very difficult to understand the fact that when your girl-friend says “Have fun”, it positively means “Abort the mission, I repeat abort the mission”.

                 

                          2. Anger Management

There are going to be night after nights, in fact days and nights, when you will get the call “I am sorry, some work came up, I won’t be able to make it”. The empty dinner chair, going to movies alone, the holiday with him, for which you waited so long…

 So there are basically two solutions, first buy a punching bag, and the second is go SHOPPING! Nothing absolutely nothing in the world feels much better than shopping, have a “SHOPGASM”.

         

           3. Know about their WORK

So you probably, love him a lot, and I mean “really a lot”. And right now I ask you to have an affair…..  With his work.

He loves what he does and he is dedicated towards his work, and he would feel amazing if you would want to know about it. What he does is not just work, but practically a part of him. So go explore a bit more about the person you love.

               4. Be Understanding

Trust me he loves you a lot, but he will never find the right words to express it to you. He can create a whole new coding world, or design a million-dollar bridge, or lead the world’s best company, but when it comes to those three words, it’s just not his field.

You’re that girl who is head to toe all about romance, and he does even has a clue of what to say on the first date! But as they say, opposite attracts.

               5. Be truthful

If he works late and you miss him, let him know. If he promised you something, and he could not do it, let him know that you’re hurt! Don’t shut him down from your life, please don’t. Not returning his calls, not saying anything, it’s not going to solve anything!

I know it hurts, and it hurts a lot, that the man whom you love so much, isn't being there for you. But this is something he needs to know too.
